Is motherhood and fatherhood becoming a matter for experts?

In the new paradigm of networked information, fast and aseptic the advice grows and grows, the recommendations, warnings and lists of do's and don'ts.

It seems that a few of us have the necessary and perfect knowledge for all families., for all the babies, for all mothers, for all parents…

The absolute truth, the perfect recipe.

Seems like that's what we need; someone tell us how to do it. As if we couldn't trust ourselves, and above all, as if we couldn't trust what our children express, with your cries, their looks, his words…his simple presence.

And so the cicadas came to the owl, forest sage, looking for advice on surviving winter.

The owl in his wisdom proposed to the cicada to become a groundhog, It is known that groundhogs sleep all winter, and when spring revives they wake up from their lethargy.

Thus the cicada could take its cicada form and continue its happy life singing under the rays of the summer sun..

The good cicada left convinced of his purpose and that when winter came he would survive in his marmot dream..

Fortunately the cicada survived., but he was almost there to have gone to the other neighborhood, literally dead from cold.

When, indignant, He returned in the spring to reproach his useless advisor, He excused himself by saying:

“I gave you the formula, the practical realization was your thing”.

What if we trained ourselves to listen?

Really listen, with all the senses.

What if we could get a more open look, more compassionate, more patient?

What if we practiced being good observers instead of evaluators??

Perhaps then our doubts would be dispelled., maybe we would even learn to live with them, testing, rewinding, improving. Leading ourselves and our children from natural leadership, honest, loving, who doesn't know everything, but who knows how to love, really, WHAT IT IS.
